I take care of the behind-the-scenes operations at Sunflower Mountain Mental Health—things like taxes, accounting, IT, and HR. It’s the kind of work that doesn’t always get the spotlight, but it’s essential for keeping the clinic running smoothly. I’m all about solving problems and finding ways to make things more efficient, so our team can focus on what really matters: providing care and support to clients.
I’ve worked as a tax software programmer for almost two decades, helping businesses of all sizes manage their financial and technical operations. Being part of SMMH, though, is different. It’s personal. This isn’t just about balancing numbers—it’s about supporting a mission that helps people navigate life’s challenges and take care of their mental health. I take pride in making sure everything behind the scenes is solid, so our providers can focus on helping clients feel supported and heard.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my partner, our two kids, and our four canine children. We love gaming online, hosting board game nights, and traveling when we have the time. I’m also a bit of a tech geek—always tinkering with gadgets and occasionally messing with our smart home settings just for fun.
At the end of the day, I’m here to make sure SMMH runs like a well-oiled machine. If I can take some of the stress off our team’s plate and help create a space where patients feel cared for, I know I’ve done my job.
